Can I buy my rental headset?

It is possible to purchase your rented headset. As a reminder, after your subscription is cancelled, you will no longer receive automatic refill pad deliveries. Instead, you can purchase them directly from our shop when needed: Refill pads.

If you are within our 30-day money-back guarantee

If you are within our 30-day money-back guarantee, you can change your rental subscription to a purchased headset.


  • Go to Flow headset – 1 month buyout and purchase your rental headset. No headset will be shipped to you because you will take ownership of the rental headset you have already received.
    • The cost of this item is £320. With your initial monthly subscription fee of £79, your total out-of-pocket expense comes to £399, representing the full price of purchasing the headset. A new activation code will be sent to you via email which can be applied under the 'Headset account' menu option in your Settings menu.
  • After you have paid, contact support@flowneuroscience.com to let us know that you have purchased your rental headset. Your subscription will be canceled by our support team upon completion of this step, ensuring that you won't incur any further charges.


If you have rented for more than 3 months

If you have a rental subscription, you can own your headset in as little as 3 months:
  • To be able to purchase your rental headset, you need to rent it for at least 3 months
  • The purchase cost is £199 or €229, which is equivalent to half the cost of the full purchase price
  • A twelve-month warranty is added to your headset from the date of purchase

When you meet the 3-month rental minimum, instructions on how to purchase your rental headset are below:

  • Go to Own my Flow headset and purchase your rental device. No headset will be shipped to you because you will take ownership of the rental headset you have already received.
    • A new activation code will be sent to you via email which can be applied under the 'Headset account' menu option in your Settings menu. 
  • After you have paid, contact support@flowneuroscience.com to let us know that you have purchased your rental headset. Your subscription will be canceled by our support team upon completion of this step, ensuring that you won't incur any further charges.
